Authentic Elder Futhark

The runes are cast.
What do they say?

A rune-reading app rooted in real Norse tradition — the rune poems, the Hávamál and the myths of the Eddas. Every reading is built on the genuine meaning of the runes, not vague feel-good filler.

Why it feels different

Most rune apps hand you a single meaning and stop.

Runic Oracle reads the runes together — the way a reading actually works, where one rune shapes how you read the next. Stone textures, glowing runes and quiet atmospheric sound make each draw a moment, not a notification you swipe away.

  • Read in position — one rune shapes the next
  • Drawn from the rune poems, the Hávamál and the Eddas
  • Atmosphere, not another notification

For you if…

You’re drawn to Norse mythology, Viking and Heathen tradition, WitchTok and the runes — and you want divination with real roots, not a horoscope reskin.

Questions

Before you cast

The honest answers.

Is it free?

Yes. Runic Oracle is free to download, and your daily rune draw and the full Elder Futhark stay free. An optional subscription with a free trial unlocks more — cancel anytime.

How is this different from other rune apps?

Most apps hand you one meaning per rune and stop. Runic Oracle reads the runes together, in position, where one rune shapes how you read the next — the way a reading actually works.

Are the meanings authentic?

Every reading is built on real Norse sources — the Old Icelandic, Old Norwegian and Anglo-Saxon rune poems, the Hávamál, and the myths of the Eddas. Each of the 24 runes is shown with the verse it comes from.

What can I actually ask?

There are nine spreads for love, work, money, a crossroads, letting something go and more — plus a yes/no oracle when you just need a fast, clear answer.

How long does a reading take?

The daily draw takes about ninety seconds — a small ritual to start the day. The deeper spreads are there for when you want to sit with a question.
